Rainy Day Indoor Ceremony // Seattle Wedding Photographer

It was a complete joy to photograph Madison and Israel’s special day! Despite the rain that drove us all inside, it was an incredible wedding with completely awesome people. You could see the joy radiating from their faces! As a Seattle Wedding Photographer, we often have to adapt to these raiiiinnyyy days, but that’s my expertise!

Because it was raining we had to move all the portraits inside, but the happy couple was very chill, and we were still able to capture some amazing portraits inside! Their minimal decor of candles and greenery made everything feel so romantic! WithinSodo is such an incredible venue, even for this rainy day indoor ceremony!

The day started with a relaxed time of getting ready, and then we were ready for the first look! After that, we did some portraits with the happy couple and their wedding party. We were even able to capture some moments out in the rain under an umbrella! Their ceremony was so special, and at one point the family gathered around the couple to pray for them. There wasn’t a dry eye in the place! The two little flower girls stole the show with their cuteness!! The reception was a blast with amazing food, a gorgeous cake, and, of course, the bride tossing the bouquet. It was followed up by some epic dancing with a phenomenal DJ. The newly married couple then left their guests while being cheered on with firecrackers! In all my years as a Seattle Wedding Photographer, I’ve never enjoyed a rainy day indoor ceremony more!
